The masseter muscles are located at the angle of the jaw and play an important role in chewing. In some individuals, these muscles may become enlarged due to genetics or habits such as teeth grinding and jaw clenching, which can influence the appearance of the lower face.
-
The temporalis muscles are located on the sides of the head and assist with chewing and jaw movement. In some individuals, these muscles may become enlarged as a result of teeth grinding, jaw clenching, or increased muscle activity.
-
The trapezius muscles extend across the neck and upper shoulders and contribute to posture and shoulder movement. Muscle size and prominence vary between individuals and may be influenced by anatomy, physical activity, and muscle use.
-
The calf (gastrocnemius) muscles are the primary muscles that contribute to the shape and contour of the calves. Their size and definition vary naturally between individuals and may be influenced by genetics, physical activity, and muscle use.
